Clubs and Teams

Extra-curricular and co-curricular clubs help make one’s high school years enjoyable and memorable.  Each student is strongly encouraged to become involved in one or more of the school activities that are offered at Paul Laurence Dunbar.  The following is a list of some of the clubs and organizations currently offered at Paul Laurence Dunbar. Watch for announcements and posters about new activities throughout the year.

Students interested in starting a new club or organization must have a faculty sponsor willing to supervise all meetings and activities of the group. The sponsor must present a request to the principal detailing the purpose, procedures, and guidelines for the organization. Upon FCPS, principal, and SBDM approval, the group may be added to the list of school activities.
