Top Dawgs for April

Our next 2 Topdawgs are well deserved, from Career Fairs to Coaching. These two individuals encompass what Topdawgs are! Congratulations to Pamela Bates, our AMAZING College and Career Coach and Cole Pleasants one of our AWESOME Para Educators as well as one of the swim and diving coaches. If you see them make sure to congratulate them!! 

Pam Bates

Pam never gives up on our ideas! She works behind the scenes to provide hope and opportunities for all students. She fights for the ones who might not have the resources to help them decide on next steps and shows them there is a light at the end of the tunnel after high school. She also supports us as educators; I stop by constantly to get input and advice for transition. 
 

Cole Pleasants

Cole is a prime example of what Dunbar stands for. He is WE ARE DUNBAR. Cole has lead the swim and dive team to numerous championships. He goes above and beyond for his athletes. He not only helps out with swim and dive, but he helps with girls and boys volleyball. Cole has also been a part of the special education department. He is a wonderful asset to the department. He builds great rapport with all students.

Cole is such an integral part of the SPED Department! He resolves issues with humor and is a fabulous team player who is always willing to pitch in to help any teacher at any time! The students respond well to Cole, and we are blessed to have him at PLD!
