Harper Hamann and Timothy Li to Preform at the Rose Bowl Parade!

Dunbar Students to Perform in the 2026 Rose Parade

We are so excited to celebrate Harper Hamann, a junior, and Timothy Li, a sophomore, who have been selected to perform with the Bands of America Honor Band in the 2026 Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. This prestigious national ensemble brings together hundreds of top student musicians from across the country.

Harper, a member of the Wind Symphony, will serve as a drum major, leading the band through rehearsals, performances at the Tournament of Roses Bandfest, and their featured appearance in the televised parade. Timothy, a talented flute performer and member of the Dunbar Band, will also perform alongside this elite group.

The 2026 Rose Parade, themed “The Magic in Teamwork, takes place on New Year’s Day and will be broadcast worldwide, showcasing magnificent floral floats, marching bands, and equestrian units.

This opportunity is a true testament to Harper and Timothy’s dedication, skill, and leadership in music. We are so proud to see our students representing Dunbar on such a national stage and celebrating their achievements in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
