Today, Dunbar Library had the privilege of hosting author Ellen Hopkins. She shared insights on her writing, the impact of her stories, and her experience as one of America’s most banned authors. Her books have been essential to our library for years, inspiring students to navigate their circumstances and make choices with hope. What a perfect way to celebrate Banned Books Week!
