WPLD Takes 3rd Place at Nationals!

We are thrilled to share that Dunbar’s Media Arts program earned a third-place national award at the Student Television Network Convention in Tampa!

Our students’ short film was recognized for its storytelling, cinematography, and visual impact among entries from schools across the country. The competition challenges students to create professional-level media under tight deadlines while competing in events such as podcasting, news anchoring, sports commentary, film production, and more.

We are incredibly proud of the creativity, teamwork, and dedication these students brought to the competition. Representing Dunbar on a national stage and bringing home an award is an amazing accomplishment.
