Locust Trace Student Tapped as Kentucky FFA Officer

Locust Trace Student Tapped as Kentucky FFA Officer

A member of the FFA chapter at Locust Trace Agriscience Center, Haylee Tucker will serve as the 2026-27 state reporter for Kentucky FFA. She was selected by a nominating committee made up of graduating senior FFA members and was elected unanimously by the delegate body earlier in June.

Though Haylee just graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, she can still be affiliated with the Locust Trace chapter for the coming year. State officers complete extensive training and travel several thousand miles representing Kentucky FFA at local and regional FFA events, agricultural meetings, and various other functions.

Kentucky FFA is an organization of over 25,000 middle and high school students enrolled in agricultural education courses. The organization has 195 chapters in 115 of the state’s 120 counties.
