PTSA Needs You!PTSA needs your support to continue to provide programs, incentives, and opportunities that benefit all students at PLD. By joining PTSA, you are actively supporting the PTSA PLD Scholarship fund, eOS store, and school programs that benefit ALL of our amazing students. There are many ways that parents can get involved to support our school community, whether is it is simply joining PTSA so we can continue to support of school wide programs, volunteering, donating needed items, organizing events, attending meetings, or serving as a PTSA officer. All levels of participation are appreciated and needed to maintain our current level of support for PLD school community. For the 24-25 school year currently have 16 parents that have joined PTSA to help support initiatives that benefit all of all students at PLD. CAN WE COUNT ON YOU TO BE ALL IN ON 1600?

Mission Statement: Paul Laurence Dunbar High School (PLD) Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) exists to provide positive enrichment experiences for our students and to build strong relationships between our students' families and the teachers and staff of PLD.

PLD PTSA Programs include:  

• Support school initiatives that benefit all students at PLD
• Provide PTSA Funded Senior Scholarships for PLD students
• Organize PTA Reflections, a visual and performing arts competition for PLD students
• Conduct School-based Decision Making (SBDM) Council Elections
• Offer a Parent and/or Student Programs
• Organize Teacher/Staff Appreciation Events
